This is Dallas. He is six years old going on seven, weighs 67 lbs on a good day (but he's usually pushing 72), and is neutered and up to date on all of his shots. He enjoys just about anything involving people. He absolutely loves walks, especially in parks and on prairies, but is also perfectly content to spend his weekend laying around watching TV as long as you leave a spot for him on the couch. His favorite toys are the ones that squeak, and the more obnoxious they are, the better in his eyes! He isn't crazy about tennis balls or fetch outdoors, he prefers to investigate the terrain. He is gentle with children and protective of infants and will bond very strongly with one or two people, but is very welcoming of human guests in his home. Dallas enjoys going to dog parks, mostly so that he can run around in a big space and won't pay much attention to the other dogs. When it comes to canine guests in his home however, he will be territorial with other dogs especially around his food/toys/people. He really doesn't even want animal companionship when he can have people instead. He is a goofy character and knows a few pretty cool tricks (more if it's a really good smelling treat).
